Nazar is an Angolan-Portuguese producer based in Amsterdam who coined rough kuduro, distorting kuduro through noise and political rupture. Recent work collapses dancefloor structures into cinematic, militarised percussion where bass is pressure and silence carries threat. His hybrid set sits between DJing and composition.
